FAQ: ELECTRIC VS. GAS

QUESTION:

Are electric vehicles more reliable than gas models?

In short, the answer is YES.  For one thing, electric vehicles have fewer moving parts.  They also use less fluids.  Just think about it -- NO gasoline, oil, coolant or other messy fluids.

Electric vehicles are not difficult to maintain.  They don't require oil changes, or coolant changes so there is no need to store all the related chemicals and equipment to do jobs like those.

The cost of operation and maintenance for typical golf carts and neighborhood electric vehicles runs approximately two cents per mile versus about 75 cents per mile on the average car.
